Life Update

Garth and I found the most adorable cat at our local Starbucks. He's a black and white short hair, probably less than a year old. He jumped up on my lap. Then made his way to garth's shoulders. We decided to adopt him after that display of affection. One of the Starbucks employees was thrilled we were taking him. She said he had been out there for days.
So we got him home. He was a little freaked out while getting use to his new surroundings. He warmed up rather quickly though, We decided to name him Ham.
This wednesday I'm gonig to be doing a photoshoot with Christine Dolce.
The makeup is theatrical. There will be three different looks. I have been drawing up sketches all morning!

Going Raw

It's the end of my third day in exploring the world of raw food. Well, as raw as can be right now. I'm still trying to figure out what's "raw" enough. Apparently packaged dehydrated food is heated above what is still considered raw. That kind of stuff.
I'm doing this purely for health reasons. I don't care if I lose weigh. I mean it would be nice but I really just want to start feeling healthy again.
For years I have abused my body. Smoking and drinking heavily since I was 17. Its been 8 months since I have quit drinking. The smoking has been a real challenge but I'm trying again. It's about time I just kick all that aside and do the opposite of what I have been.
So far so good. I mean anyone can pretty much do anything for three days. I just have to keep motivated. I have been saturating my self with all the benefits from this way of living. Then there are the the horror stories. I know the scary truth about what I have been doing to my body.
I have never been one of those people. Live fast die young. Always wanted to live fast and die old. Growing old doesn't bother me. Growing old and having to suck on an oxygen tank does.
There are some pretty creative recipes out there. I need to put together a more interesting menu. Smoothies and salads are starting to get boring...I watched Anthony Bourdain tonight. I was seriously craving the bone marrow he was lapping up. I'm a total carnivore. I love meat, all kinds and prepared all ways.
I don't have a real goal about how long I can do this. I want to see if its something my body will react well too. If anything I'm hoping it will just incorporate better eating habits it to my life.
