I went to the Satic lounge last night . I didn't actually stay around for the fashion show. I slapped some red eyeshadow all over some girl and took off...Im glad I went, i was just tired when I got there. Deanna liked the makeup . She said she would try to hook me up with something else since she couldn't pay me or anything.

I had my second practice today. The ambient, melodic music makes it easy to play around with different vocal sounds and tones. I can place "la las" and "oooh oohs" where i think it will fit. "Its very pretty" they said...I never thought my voice was particularly pretty.
I met up with Kevin. We had coffee at Gelato Vera. We have a ritual when he is in town. Coffee, conversation and sitting at a vantage point where we can see the city. We always have something to say to each other. There are rare but relaxed moments when we both stop to collect thoughts. The time I have with him is speacial. It has made a huge impact in my life in so many ways.
Im watching a documentary on Charles bukowski...I  wish I had more people to unabashedly throw ideas to. Most people are assholes. Where are all the bukowski's?

Dream Tiger

Last night I auditioned for the the band dreamtiger How did I end up auditioning for this band you ask? Well, let me tell you. MayStar From club Fashion Whore posted a myspace bulletin looking for a drummer for her friends band. The bass player ,Nate, is the Fashion Whore DJ. I let Kim (from work) who is a drummer, know about them. She is now playing with them. A fw days ago she mentioned that they needed a female back up vocalist. I had been talking to James and he thought it would be cool if i came to their practice... Apparently James (guitar/vocals) liked what he heard and I will be meeting with them again.
