Want

Last weekend I did the makeup for a start up magazine called "Want". They wanted the makeup clean and classic. Red lips and rosy cheeks, very simple. They were happy with what I did. The stylist said it was exactly what they wanted. So yeah, my name will be in a magazine.
I have had only two paying gigs so far. I'm loving what im doing but the stress of not having a constant flow of jobs is always in the back of my head. I have been putting off working at a makeup counter for a couple of reasons. I'm not interested at all in selling makeup. Also waiting to get the prints from the mag shoot and a couple others to show them.
The reason I got in to this was a way to express my self creatively yadda yadda. Most of the American magazines are so commercial. It's hard to throw out a unique concept. I know Renee and Adam want to do more interesting work. She said if I had an idea she would try and help me be able to create something. In the mean time I need to keep the momentum going.
